Kimberly-Clark highlights new executive changes

Kimberly-Clark has announced a series of executive changes that will enhance its ability to execute its global business plan and drive global expansion.

Elane Stock, group president of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has been elected group president of K-C International, succeeding the departing Christian Brickman. Kim Underhill, currently president of the European consumer business, takes over Ms Stock's previous role.

Meanwhile, Mike Hsu, group president for Kimberly-Clark's North American consumer business, will be placed in charge of the global nonwovens operations and sustainability, safety and continuous improvement teams, which previously reported to Ms Stock.

Finally, Gustavo Calvo Paz will become president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, leading the consumer business in the EU.

Chairman and chief executive officer Thomas Falk said: "Elane, Kim, Mike and Gustavo are all strong leaders with proven strategic, operational and innovation experience. These changes will help us further build our already strong consumer and professional businesses."

In 2013, the company generated a sales total of $5.3 billion (3.18 billion pounds), with organic sales rising by five percent year on year and sales volume increasing by four percent.
