Mast launches Assure Bacterial Agglutinating Antisera products

Mast has announced the launch of its new range of Assure Bacterial Agglutinating Antisera products, which offer a wide variety of benefits.

This comprehensive assortment of polyvalent and monovalent diagnostic antisera are designed for use in bacterial identification. They are presented in two ml dropper bottles, are user friendly and ensure minimal laboratory wastage.

Using these new products, bacterial serotype can be easily determined according to the expression of flagella and somatic antigens.

Mast Antisera products are already used globally for the antigenic analysis of clinically significant bacteria, including Mast Assure Salmonella Antisera, one of the manufacturer's best selling ranges.

The company said: "The Mast Assure product range promises high-quality performance, simple slide and test tube agglutination methods and easy-to-read results. All antisera are derived from immunised rabbits, adsorbed to remove cross agglutinins and filter sterilised."

On May 16th 2014, the firm will be attending the British Society for Microbial Technology annual meeting, where it will be demonstrating its extensive portfolio of products for use in combating antibiotic resistance.
