AstraZeneca details Nexium Direct scheme

20th March 2014

AstraZeneca believes its Nexium Direct scheme, a programme that provides eligible patients to have brand-name pharma products delivered directly to their home, will prove to be successful.

Nexium Direct is part of AstraZeneca Direct and the company stated the medications are dispensed by a team of registered pharmacists with certified pharmacy technicians available.

It is a collaboration with Eagle Pharmacy, a trusted pharmacy partner, and has been designed to be easy for the customer.

According to AstraZeneca, enrolment in Nexium Direct is easy as there are no coupons or co-pay cards needed and all a patient requires to use the service is a valid prescription from a doctor.

The final step is an online enrollment and after that is completed and the prescription processed, patients will have access to a 24-hour support centre, which they can contact via phone or email.

This can be used to ask questions, request auto refills and make use of free home delivery.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801705022-ADNFCR
