Portland Health appoints associate director from Hanover
Portland Health has announced the appointment of Matt Worrall to the newly created role of associate director, expanding its healthcare practice team to eight members.
Mr Worrall will begin his new job on April 2nd 2014 and joins the company from Hanover, where he was employed as a senior account director. He can boast significant experience of working in the healthcare sector over a number of years, reports PRWeek.
He was previously head of communications at the Royal College of Surgeons and worked at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry on media campaigning, stakeholder relations and crisis communications.
Over the course of his career, Mr Worrall has worked with healthcare organisations from pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers through to central government and NHS organisations, meaning he can offer significant expertise in numerous relevant fields.
Portland Health was established as the dedicated healthcare practice of the Portland group last year and is headed by Louise Fish, the former director of communications at the NHS Confederation and the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.
