Tonic Life founders to depart agency next year
Tonic Life is set to undergo a significant change in management personnel after its founders confirmed their imminent departure from the agency.
Chief executive Scott Clark, managing director Oliver Parsons and director Moira Gitsham – who jointly founded the agency in 2004 – will all be leaving, as will London managing director Stephanie Bunten.
The agency was sold to Huntsworth Health in 2009 and has significantly expanded in size and scope over the last five years. The earn-out period for the business leaders came to an end in July 2013.
A search for a new group chief executive officer and other senior staff is now underway. Tonic Life's London deputy managing director Tamsin Tierney will continue to work with North American president Maryellen Royle and Huntsworth Health's vice-president for strategic development Annabelle Sandeman to support the London operation.
The company was the winner of the 2010/11 Holmes Report Award for healthcare agency of the year and was ranked number one in PRWeek's list of the top 150 healthcare agencies in 2012. It also has offices in Philadelphia and Singapore.
