Thermo Fisher Scientific showcases products at Analytica 2014
Thermo Fisher Scientific is attending this week's Analytica international trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology, where it is demonstrating a number of cutting-edge innovations.
Among the products on display are new systems to improve lab sample and data management, including the HAAKE Viscotester iQ rheometer, Nunclon Sphera cell culture surface, E1-ClipTip electronic pipette and SampleSeal instrument.
Elsewhere, devices such as the Life Technologies QuantStudio 3D Digital PCR System and Thermo Scientific DXR xi Raman imaging microscope are making their European debut at the Munich event.
Other featured products include the Life Technologies EVOS FL Auto Cell Imaging System, Prima BT Benchtop Mass Spectrometer, Delta Ray Isotope Ratio Infrared Spectrometer and various other mass spectrometry offerings.
Marc Casper, president and chief executive officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific, said: "The products we're showcasing at Analytica demonstrate how faster analysis, more accurate results and the ability to transform data into knowledge can create a competitive advantage for our customers in today's evolving marketplace."
This comes after the firm completed the sale of its gene modulation, HyClone cell culture and magnetic beads operations to GE Healthcare at the end of last month.
