Langland appoints new director of planning

9th April 2014

Langland has announced the recruitment of Adrian Zambardino as its new director of planning as it seeks to accelerate its recent growth.

Mr Zambardino brings more than 25 years of international account planning experience to his new role, having formerly been employed by Ogilvy and Mather, Saatchi and Saatchi, JWT and DMB&B.

During his career, he has helped to create and oversee campaigns for leading brands such as Toyota, Lloyds TSB, Cadbury's, Andrex, Kellogg's and Kraft. He also planned the account for BP's sponsorship of the 2012 Olympic Games while with Ogilvy and Mather.

The new recruit will be responsible for pioneering new approaches to account planning in the healthcare sector.

Langland chief executive Philip Chin said: "Whilst healthcare advertising is not a science, it's important to apply scientific rigour to the way we create the work, to ensure that we maximise its commercial effectiveness for our clients."

This comes after the agency enjoyed a hugely successful 2013, earning a whole host of prestigious accolades at last year's Global Awards, IPA Best of Health Awards and PM Society Advertising Awards.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801711197-ADNFCR
