Ivoclar Vivadent launches Programat EP 5010 and EP 3010 furnaces

Ivoclar Vivadent has launched its new Programat EP 5010 and EP 3010, two examples of its next-generation approach to press furnaces.

Optimally coordinated for use with the company's pressed ceramic materials, they incorporate QTK2 muffle technology and an SiC bottom reflector to ensure homogeneous heat distribution in the investment ring, thereby producing high-quality results.

It also incorporates an integrated infrared camera that monitors the temperature and automatically recognises the size of the preheated investment ring, making it easier than ever to fire and press its IPS e.max materials.

Meanwhile, if the infrared technology feature is activated, a thermal imaging camera can be utilised to regulate the predrying and closing process.

The manufacturer said: "This innovative technology offers a wide range of new possibilities which increase the furnace's usability, its process reliability and efficiency."

This comes in the same week that the company announced the launch of a new marketing and sales office in Vienna, which will enhance its service offering in the Austrian market.
