Simplyhealth to sponsor Leeds Midnight Walk

Simplyhealth has announced that it will be sponsoring the eighth annual Leeds Midnight Walk, which will be taking place on May 17th 2014.

The event, held in aid of St Gemma's Hospice, is a women-only seven or ten-mile circular walk starting and ending at the Xercise 4 Less gym, taking in Kirkstall, Horsforth and West Park en route.

Money raised by the charity walk will be used to pay for the provision of specialist medical nursing care for terminally ill people in Leeds. It also offers participants the opportunity to get involved in fun physical activity in a positive atmosphere filled with uplifting and inspirational stories.

Raman Sankaran, spokesperson for Simplyhealth, said: "This is a fantastic event packed with excitement, uplifting stories, inspirational women and a really positive atmosphere."

Earlier this year, the dental and health insurer was presented with the SITEL Customer Commitment Award at the annual UK Customer Satisfaction Awards, marking the third consecutive year it has won the accolade.
