Sirona launches affordable new Intego treatment centre

Sirona has announced the launch of Intego, an affordable new treatment centre that will be manufactured at its Bensheim site in Germany.

The product is based on a chair concept that takes the four dimensions of ergonomics into account – intuitive seating, comfortable positioning, optimum visibility and integrated workflows.

A simple and intuitive EasyPad user interface allows all of the individual functions, instruments and settings to be selected and controlled from a single panel, while its dentist and assistant elements can be flexibly adjusted.

It also incorporates a self-contained fresh water supply bottle, a compact design and a number of optional accessories.

Michael Geil, vice-president for treatment centres at Sirona, said: "Dentists should not have to forego outstanding quality, innovative features and modern design depending on how much they can afford to invest in a new centre."

This comes after the firm launched a new mobile stand for its intraoral X-ray tube Heliodent Plus last month.
