Octopus Group to embrace brand-to-sales agency model

28th May 2014

Octopus Group has announced that it will be adopting an innovative disruptive new brand-to-sales operational model for the agency.

Replacing its traditional approach, structure and mindset with a more fluid, client-centric outlook, the firm aims to help tech brands achieve growth with greater ease and efficiency, while accelerating its own recent business expansion.

Under the new model, clients will be charged based on output rather than time, with work overseen by multi-skilled teams of relationship managers, project managers, engagement teams and specialists.

Live evaluation will help clients to monitor return on investment in real time, while they will also have more scope to scale their projects up and down as required.

The new brand-to-sales approach is being implemented following 18 months of planning and Octopus co-founder and chief executive officer Sandy Purewal told PRWeek that the strategy will keep the business agile.

He explained: "We have doubled in size and we have ambitions to double again in the next few years, and we felt [the previous] structure wouldn't allow us to do it."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801723599-ADNFCR
