Weber Shandwick selected as Technicolor’s agency of record
Weber Shandwick has been named as the new global agency of record for Technicolor following a request for proposal.
The client, which provides the media and entertainment industries with digital innovations, products and services, began its work with Weber Shandwick a few weeks ago. Contract length and budget information have not been disclosed, reports PRWeek.
Weber Shandwick's team has been tasked with communicating Technicolor's story to businesses and consumers alike, while helping with content creation. The agency was selected due to its global reach and relevant industry expertise.
One the client's key aims is to raise awareness of its diverse technological and digital offerings around the globe, as it is currently recognised mostly for its work on Hollywood movies.
Tim Fry, global technology practice chair at Weber Shandwick, said the agency aims to "tell a powerful, compelling, simple story about how the brand and the company have evolved over the years".
This comes after Weber Shandwick won a new brief with supply chain planning and optimisation software company Quintiq earlier this month.
