Hotwire wins European PR brief with Veracode

Hotwire has won a new European PR brief with the cloud-based application security services provider Veracode.

The six-figure account will be headed by Hotwire deputy managing director Matt Cross, reporting to Veracode's corporate comms manager Jessica Lavery. The brief was previously handled by Weber Shandwick, reports Gorkana.

Hotwire will be tasked with supporting Veracode's expanding European operation and communicating its key message, which focuses on the dangers of third-party application security threats.

The work will involve storytelling development, influencer relations and content creation, with activity based primarily in the UK and Germany.

Jessica Lavery, corporate comms manager at Veracode, said: "Hotwire’s deep-level strategic thinking and influencer expertise really impressed us during the pitch process. The company has extensive experience in developing proactive campaigns to communicate our business value and supporting our rapid European growth."

This comes after Hotwire was recently nominated as one of the tech consultancies of the year at the 2014 EMEA Sabre Awards.
