Petplan wins insurance deal with Vets4Pets and Companion Care

Petplan has announced that it has been chosen as the pet insurance provider for Vets4Pets and Companion Care in a new five-year deal.

The agreement will see Petplan provide cover for more than 250 practices across the UK, many of which the company already has enjoyed strong partnerships with over the years.

With this new collaboration, the insurer will extend its services to many more British surgeries, allowing it to further demonstrate its commitment to supporting the country's veterinary sector.

Petplan was selected for the new contract following a formal tender process, based on its proven ability to offer a world-class service, according to Vets4Pets and Companion Care commercial director Andrei Balta.

Simon Masding, Petplan's head of sales and partnerships, said: "We are delighted to be Vets4Pets and Companion Care's chosen pet insurance provider and look forward to working together to help give even more pets access to quality insurance cover and an excellent claims experience."

Petplan is an Allianz Insurance brand which launched in 1976. It has occupied a market-leading position in the UK pet insurance sector for more than 36 years.
