Fishawack rebrands Archimed and names new chairman

Fishawack has achieved a pair of key strategic milestones following the completion of a key rebranding exercise and the appointment of a new chairman.

The group has rebranded its Switzerland-based subsidiary Archimed Medical Communication as Fishawack Archimed, following its integration as part of the wider organisation subsequent to its acquisition in May 2013.

A specialist provider of drug safety and regulatory communications, including pharmacovigilance support, Fishawack Archimed will continue to help the Fishawack group to expand its range of services for leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.

This announcement coincided with the appointment of John Handley as the group's new chairman, handing him a key leadership role at the head of a global team of more than 220 staff members.

He has extensive experience of chairing companies backed by private equity investors, as well as a proven track record of creating value in businesses and negotiating successful acquisitions.

Mr Handley said: "I can see the further potential that the management team has identified in their strategic growth plan and anticipate a productive relationship creating further value in the business."
