Teva wins Gold Quality Mark for charitable donations

Teva has won a Gold Quality Mark through the government's Workplace Giving UK scheme, highlighting its strong commitment to philanthropic activities.

The firm has received the award in recognition of the fact that more than ten percent of its employees are donating to their chosen charities through a payroll giving scheme.

Moreover, it has raised more than 13,500 pounds in the past year for a range of charitable causes through various fundraising events, including a fancy dress day in aid of Children in Need and moustache growing in support of Movember.

In addition, Teva has a longstanding relationship with International Health Partners, a charity dedicated to improving access to healthcare and medicines among children and adults in needy communities around the world.

Lynda Wilebore, Teva's HR director, said: "I'm really proud of our employees and all they do in support of good causes. We aim to foster a charitable spirit at Teva and actively encourage our employees in supporting the causes that are close to them."

This comes after the company was recognised last week for its contribution to the UK economy with a place in the inaugural Sunday Times and PA Consulting Inward Investment Track league table.
