Martindale Pharma introduces three new products in UK
Martindale Pharma has announced the addition of three new products to its portfolio of generic medicines in the UK.
The company has introduced the first licensed oral solution formulation of dexamfetamine sulphate in Britain, for use in the treatment of narcolepsy and refractory hyperkinetic states among children. The new version of the product promises to be easier to use than previous tablet formulations.
Meanwhile, the firm has also expanded its ophthalmology portfolio with dorzolamide/timolol and latanoprost/timolol combination eye drops, for use in the treatment of various forms of glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
This comes after the introduction of Noyada, the first oral liquid formulation of captopril, earlier this year.
Michael Clark, chief marketing officer of Martindale Pharma, said the launch of these products "is in line with our commitment to provide high-quality innovative products to patients that are cost-effective for the NHS".
The firm is a leading international specialty pharmaceutical company selling products to more than 20 countries around the world. It relocated to new purpose-built business premises in Buckinghamshire earlier this year.
