Capella PR wins brief to promote Preoday’s takeaway ordering app

13th August 2014

Capella PR has been handed a new brief by British technology firm Preoday, ahead of the launch of its new free ordering app for takeaways.

The agency has been tasked with supporting the introduction of the My Order App, with the campaign to centre on persuading restaurant owners to utilise the technology to create their own privately branded apps, allowing them to promote themselves and receive orders from customers.

Capella was selected on the basis of its ability to deliver a "really disruptive campaign" that can catch the attention of takeaway owners, according to Preoday chief executive Andrew White.

Traditional and social media approaches will be used to highlight the frustrations many restaurant owners face with existing 'middleman' order applications, which charge up to 12 percent commissions on each sale.

Gareth Thomas, founder of Capella PR, said: "Preoday is a really ambitious company and has an exciting product that meets a clear market need."

The agency has rapidly gained traction in the UK since its launch in 2012, claiming the small agency of the year prize at the Golden Hedgehog Awards earlier this year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801741819-ADNFCR
