Hotwire creates new head of engagement role
Hotwire has announced the creation of a new head of engagement role to improve its delivery of non-traditional services.
John Brown, a former director at Speed Communications, has been appointed to the role, which will leverage his experience of managing brand reputation and the development and delivery of strategies for clients such as Virgin Media Business.
Hotwire UK managing director Alex MacLaverty said: "The addition of John on to our team means we can now provide even more senior knowhow to develop truly integrated campaigns that deliver business results."
In addition to this hire, the agency has strengthened its senior management team with the promotion of Laura Macdonald and Kate Hamilton to directorial roles.
Meanwhile, David Clare has rejoined the agency as programme director, focusing on digital services in the consumer brands team. He returns to Hotwire after a year with Blue Rubicon.
This comes after the firm launched a refreshed brand identity and reorganised its structure earlier this year as part of its long-term growth strategy.
