BCF Technology launches AED panel for Cuattro Slate 4 system
BCF Technology has announced the introduction of an automatic exposure detection (AED) panel that will be made available for use with its new wireless Cuattro Slate 4 digital radiography system.
The new innovation means the plate is now capable of automatically recognising radiation from the generator with no need for a sync cable, ensuring vets will only need to carry the plate, tablet and generator with them.
Via a simple three-step process, users can simply take an image and back up the data to a picture archiving and communication system or the cloud with a single button press, making the slate easy to use.
Moreover, the new addition to the platform will also make it easy to orientate the equipment around the horse, making it more convenient in practical as well as technical terms.
Gavin Mitchell from BCF said: "This is the new revolution for equine digital radiography. Our rugged tablet design makes it easy to show your client your images."
The firm began supplying the Cuattro range of equine and small animal flat panel digital radiography products to the UK, Ireland and South Africa last year, seeing strong demand for the offerings since.
