Hanover appoints new European head of healthcare

Hanover has announced the return of Emma Eatwell to the agency, taking over the role of European healthcare head.

Ms Eatwell originally Hanover last year to become head of public policy and advocacy at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum, while she has also spent time working for APCO Worldwide and Genzyme.

She will rejoin Hanover on November 24th 2014 and will be tasked with advising healthcare clients on corporate and brand agendas, as well as market and patient access campaigns.

Her appointment comes as the agency seeks to maintain its recent record level of growth by developing and strengthening its expertise across all areas of the business.

Christian Hierholzer, managing director at Hanover Brussels, said: "Her excellent understanding of the policy and regulatory environments across Europe will be a key asset in enabling us to continue to provide clients with clear, strategic advice to achieve their business goals."

This comes after the agency appointed Richard Sloggett, formerly of MHP Health, as a new associate director earlier this year.
