Lab M to showcase new products at Medica 2014

Lab M has announced that it will be attending this year's Medica conference, which takes place in Dusseldorf from November 12th to 15th 2014.

A range of new products will be presented by the company at the event, with a focus on supporting laboratories in their efforts to maximise process efficiency and optimise workflow. These includes its recently-introduced uPREP and Pinnacle product lines.

The uPREP line of ready-to-reconstitute media includes the uPREP Half Fraser Broth ISO for the isolation of Listeria spp and the uPREP Buffered Peptone Water ISO, which is used as a pre-enrichment medium in salmonella testing.

Meanwhile, the Pinnacle range of pre-poured plates are prepared under a stringent quality management system and leverage the firm's proven expertise in developing and manufacturing microbiological culture media.

Lab M's managing director Ian Morris said: "Lab M has made substantial investments in new manufacturing facilities, growing our headcount and doubling our research and development capacity. As a result, we have been able to launch a number of exciting new product ranges."

The firm has seen substantial growth since relocating to its new headquarters in Heywood in July 2012.
