Ivoclar Vivadent launches new SR Nexco Flask
Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the launch of a versatile new flask that allows composite materials to be efficiently and quickly pressed to dental restorations.
Developed in collaboration with industry professionals with expertise in using the press technique, the SR Nexco Flask addresses many of the practical functional, ergonomic and design challenges associated with the pressing of light-curing veneering composites.
It delivers highly accurate results, with hardly any difference between the final restoration and the wax-up, while the many special details incorporated into it allow the flask to be individually adjusted to the specific indication and the framework situation.
Other benefits include its large, easy-grip screws that are not permanently fixed, while the fact the top part of the flask is transparent and allows light to pass through it means the light-curing composite is evenly polymerised from all sides.
The company said: "The new flask is an extension of the existing SR Nexco product system. It is ideally matched to the SR Nexco materials."
Also launched by Ivoclar Vivadent this month is the Zenotec select hybrid, a state-of-the-art five-axis machining system that is capable of wet grinding and dry milling dental materials.
