Havas Life Medicom and VCCP Health top leaderboard at PM Society Awards

Havas Life Medicom and VCCP Health have emerged as the biggest winners at the 29th annual PM Society Awards, which recently took place in London.

The event saw both agencies claim a total of three gold awards each, with VCCP Health topping the overall chart with a total of ten awards – three gold, four silver and three bronze. Havas Life Medicom, Havas Lynx and McCann Manchester each won six.

Two categories were won by the same agency as last year, with VCCP Health retaining the Craft Award for best secondary care advertisement, while Bedgebury Communications once again claimed the Target Award for best primary care advertisement.

A number of pharmaceutical companies were also honoured at the event, with Mundipharma topping the leaderboard after claiming ten awards, of which three were gold.

Neil Smith, chairman of the PM Society Awards, said: "It was encouraging this year to see the number of digital entries being judged alongside traditional print media and to welcome some first-timers to the awards."

The awards are organised by the PM Society, an organisation dedicated to promoting marketing excellence in the healthcare and life science industries.
