Welch Allyn to showcase new Connex Spot Monitor at industry conference
Welch Allyn has announced that it will be unveiling its new Connex Spot Monitor (CSM) and
its family of connected electronic vitals documentation solutions at an upcoming trade event.
The company will attend the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society trade show next week to demonstrate the third-generation spot vitals monitor's easy-to-use features and early warning options.
A wireless system providing comprehensive and accurate patient documentation via a single touchscreen device, the CSM can capture and transmit patient data to an electronic medical record to enable improvements in patient safety and clinical decision-making.
Also on display will be the company's Mobile Vital Signs Monitoring solution, as well as its Connex Clinical Surveillance System, which can alert clinicians to the risk of medical emergencies.
Garrison Gomez, Welch Allyn's senior director of vital signs and cardiology for the US and Canada, said: "We'll use our new devices to demonstrate how clinicians can automate the process of capturing patients' vital signs and streamline data management."
