Malvern Instruments ‘to showcase new products at ACHEMA 2015’

Malvern Instruments will be putting its expanding range of products for the life science and industrial sectors on display at the upcoming ACHEMA 2015.

The four-day event, which will run from June 15th to 19th and be held in Frankfurt, will mark the first major European outing for the latest additions to the firms' recently acquired MicroCal microcalorimetry range and for the innovative OMNISEC GPC/SEC platform.

Malvern's MicroCal PEAQ-ITC and PEAQ-ITC automated systems, which offer robust performance and enhanced functionality for the study of biomolecular interactions, will take centre stage for the firm this year.

The new Viscosizer TD, created for automated ultra-low volume particle and molecular sizing via Taylor Dispersion Analysis, will also be on display.

In addition, Malvern will showcase OMNISEC, a fully integrated, easy-to-use multi-detector GPC/SEC system that delivers high sensitivity molecular weight and distribution, size and structure measurements for proteins, and for natural and synthetic polymers too.

Joining OMNISEC on the firm's industrial stand will be the Mastersizer 3000, the company's flagship laser diffraction particle size analyser, which comes fitted with Hydro Sight, a state-of-the-art imaging accessory that makes it quicker and easier to develop, apply and troubleshoot particle sizing methods.
