Galderma to enter nutraceuticals market following Inneov deal
Galderma will be making its entry in the lucrative nutraceuticals market following the completion of its acquisition of several key brands and assets from Inneov.
As agreed by parent company Nestle Skin Health earlier this month, Galderma will be purchasing the Nutri-Care D, Duocap, Densilogy, Densilogy Men, Fermete, Fermete Aox, Firmness, Pre-Hyaluron 465, Solar and Sun Sensitivity product lines from Inneov.
These products are expected to fit well with Galderma's self-medication business and its existing portfolio of skin health medical solutions.
Inneov's portfolio are backed by science and clinical evidence and have been recommended by healthcare professionals for aiding the healthy upkeep of the skin, hair and nails.
Stuart Raetzman, chief executive officer of Galderma, said: "We look forward to expanding our range of nutraceutical products and to serving consumers' needs around the world."
Formerly a joint venture between L'Oreal and Nestle, Galderma was bought out completely by Nestle last year as part of a move by the latter to expand its position in the skin health market.
