Chandler Chicco tops UK healthcare PR rankings for 2014

Chandler Chicco Companies has been ranked as the top-performing agency in the healthcare PR sector in 2014.

A new Global Agency Business Report from PRWeek indicated that the specialist health PR firm generated 13.75 million pounds in fee income from the sector last year, more than any other agency. This was up by three percent on the previous year.

In second place was Edelman, the UK's largest agency. Healthcare contributes 12.63 million pounds to its fee income for the year, or 25 percent of its overall total. It marked a 15 percent increase on its healthcare takings from 2013.

Pegasus came third in the list with fees of 6.37 million pounds, while fourth-placed Axon Communications was the fastest-growing organisation on the list, with its 5.94 million income total representing a 31 percent year-on-year rise.

Making up the remainder of the top ten were Red Door Unlimited, Chime PR, MHP Communications, Incisive Health, Hanover Communications and Instinctif Partners.
