Hill-Rom launches new bariatric care products

Hill-Rom has announced the launch of two bariatric care products to meet the growing needs for new offerings in this expanding market.

The Compella Bariatric Bed is an automated unit that allows both its width and length to be expanded automatically at the touch of a button. Its IntelliDrive XL-powered transport system makes it easier to navigate doorways and hallways. 

It can also provide lung and skin therapies, customisable exit alarms and other means of improving greater patient safety and reducing ventilator-associated complications.

Meanwhile, the LikoGuard Lift helps with the transportation of patients and offers a complete redesign to clinical workflow, while protecting both patients and caregivers from injury.

The ceiling-mounted unit offers high safe working loads and carefully designed safety features, plus an enhanced interface designed in consultation with medical professionals.
