Henry Schein’s professional relations head wins public health award
Henry Schein has announced that Steven Kess, its vice-president of global professional relations, has been presented with an accolade for his outstanding contributions to public health.
The New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) has awarded Mr Kess with its annual Harry Strusser Memorial Award, thanks to his long history of supporting public health outreach programmes on behalf of Henry Schein.
He is a co-founder of Henry Schein Cares, the company's global corporate social responsibility programme, and has also received a presidential citation by the American Dental Association and the National Dental Association's 2014 President's Corporate Award.
This presentation further strengthens the strategic relationship between Henry Schein and NYUCD, which has lasted for more than two decades.
Mr Kess said: "Henry Schein looks forward to continuing its partnership with this remarkable institution for many years to come."
This comes after the firm's chief executive Stanley Bergman was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Case Western Reserve University last month.
