Up to host recruitment event in London pub this July
Up Communications is looking to hire three new members of staff at a special recruitment event in a central London pub, held to mark the first anniversary of the agency's founding.
On July 1st, the pub will be rebranded as the Up Inn Arms and will be open from 11:00 until 23:00 BST, with candidates to be given a chance to participate in a series of interviews and creative tests with the company founders.
The firm is looking to hire two experienced staff members who have been in the comms business for at least two years, as well as its first apprentice, who will be straight out of education.
Stuart Jackson, chief executive officer of Up Communications, said: "We're simply looking for bright, passionate, creative people who can hold a conversation, tell a good story, build relationships and deliver quality work."
Up was launched on July 1st 2014 by Mr Jackson and former EE colleague Lynne Arrowsmith, with former national newspaper executive James Saville and Mail on Sunday showbiz editor Lara Gould joining in November that year.
Since its launch, it has won briefs with high-profile clients such as Orange, Nicky Clarke and Chelsea Apps Factory.
