Simplyhealth’s Denplan business appoints auto-enrolment provider

Simplyhealth's specialist dental payment plan provider business Denplan has selected Aon Employee Benefits as its preferred supplier for a new auto-enrolment solution.

The Littleblue auto-enrolment product is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises through the auto-enrolment process, the introduction of which is expected to be completed next year.

Denplan has more than 6,500 member dentists across the country, as well as providing in excess of 1,900 companies with corporate dental plans, covering 180,000 employees in total.

It will be working with Aon to inform members about the pension changes and how this will impact their practice, while also encouraging them to start preparing for auto-enrolment at least six months before their staging date.

Henry Clover, deputy chief dental officer at Denplan, said: "We believe there are many dental practices that are not yet aware of how the law on workplace pensions has changed, or if they do know about the new regulations, they may not have started preparing for auto-enrolment yet."

In 2014, the firm was named best dental plan provider at the Health Insurance Awards for a fifth consecutive year.
