Sirona named as one of Germany’s most innovative companies

Sirona has been named as one of the most innovative medium-sized German companies through the Top 100 competition organised by Compamedia.

Out of 302 qualifiers, a total of 234 companies made it to the final round, with 178 being awarded across three size classes. This marks the third time Sirona has received this recognition for innovation.

This comes after the firm was previously recognised at the Top Employer Awards for Germany and Austria 2015 earlier this year, as well as claiming the Best Employer in Germany 2015 prize awarded by Focus and the Top Employer Award for China.

Meanwhile, its digital 3D and 2D X-ray system Orthophos SL and inLab MC X5 production machine for dental laboratories were recently presented with the prestigious Red Dot Award for best product design.

Sirona executive vice-president and managing director Rainer Bertha said: "The expertise of our staff and the innovation culture in the company are crucial competitive factors for us.
