CA Technologies appoints UK communications head

CA Technologies has announced the appointment of Rebecca Taylor from Enigma Marketing Services as its new head of comms for the UK and Ireland.

During her time with Enigma Marketing Services, she managed campaigns for brands such as Worldpay, Acision and Arcserve, while prior to this she worked for Octopus Group and Cirkle, reports Gorkana.

In her new role at the software company, she will manage external PR, social media, employee comms and corporate social responsibility activity, working in collaboration with Zeno, CA Technologies' agency of record.

The work will leverage her past experience of dealing with clients such as Pepsico, Premier Foods, GlaxoSmithKline, Everline and Silicon Valley Bank.

Sarah Atkinson, vice-president of European comms at CA Technologies, said: "Her broad experience will help us expand our share of voice in the media and further show organisations how they can seize the opportunities presented in the application economy, working with CA Technologies."
