Elanco updates Atopica Comfort Club scheme

Elanco has announced the launch of a new and improved version of its Atopica Comfort Club support initiative.

The loyalty scheme offers support for veterinary professionals treating either canine atopic dermatitis or feline allergic dermatitis cases with Atopica, with the aim of ensuring patients receive a more comfortable outcome.

A refreshed easy-to-use website will help vets to manage cases as a practice, thus ensuring better visibility, while a range of special offers will be available for new and existing users post-diagnosis.

The initiative also provides veterinary practices with a free-of-charge Atopica redemption scheme through both induction and maintenance periods, while a practice logbook makes it simple to capture details on each case.

Alice Laurens, dermatology marketing manager at Elanco Animal Health, said: "The Comfort Club loyalty scheme embraces a multi-modal approach and ensures better comfort is provided to Atopica patients with options to offer a flea product, shampoo, essential fatty acids and an adapted diet."

The company updated the licence of Atopica earlier this year, detailing the need for consideration to be given to the use of other measures or treatments to control moderate to severe pruritus when initiating therapy.
