Owen Mumford meets with David Cameron during Malaysian conference
Owen Mumford has attended a recent business event in Malaysia hosted by British High Commissioner Vicki Treadwell, during which it had an opportunity to meet with David Cameron.
The prime minister was the guest of honour at the event, which was designed to promote trade relations between the UK and Malaysia. Paula Staples, programme director of Owen Mumford for Asia-Pacific, was able to speak with Mr Cameron during the conference.
Owen Mumford's head office is located in Mr Cameron's constituency of Witney, and the MP has paid a visit to the medical technology firm's premises in the past.
Ms Staples said: "It was a great pleasure to hear that the prime minister could recall his previous visits to our Woodstock and Chipping Norton factories."
The event gave Owen Mumford the chance to meet with other business leaders and investors with interests spanning the UK and Malaysian markets.
Owen Mumford has a small team working at a new facility in Nusajaya, Johor Bahru, with further recruitment efforts currently in effect it looks to start manufacturing and support the business in the Asia Pacific region.
