Carestream Dental launches new version of CS OrthoTrac

Carestream Dental has announced the launch of the latest version of its CS OrthoTrac practice management software, which provides new office management tools.

Version 12.4 of the software makes it easier for practice staff to work within recall reports, provide patient rewards and offer online automated statements.

For example, users can go directly to the patients on the recall report to view their information, or add notes to the report as they work. When the recall is deleted, the notes are saved and can be viewed in charting and patient tracking.

Meanwhile, new integration with the PracticeGenius Rewards Hub allows users to store rewards card numbers and link it to patient charts, while the Automated Statement eService makes it easier to transmit statements to a clearinghouse to be printed.

Susan Whitt, senior product manager for CS OrthoTrac at Carestream Dental. said: "Our software has evolved in response to those changes and allows for orthodontic offices to more efficiently manage the business of their practice in the modern age."

This comes after the firm launched its new CS 8100SC diagnostic tool for orthodontists earlier this year.
