Link Technologies appoints Chemie Brunschwig as Swiss distributor

Link Technologies has appointed Chemie Brunschwig as a new distribution partner for Switzerland, a move that represents its first formal partnership in Europe.

This comes as part of the company's wider strategy to strengthen its representation in important market segments, thus expanding the customer base for its innovative reagents for oligo therapeutics and diagnostics.

Chemie Brunschwig distributes more than one million different chemicals, life science products and labware, for a variety of research and development or production applications, to laboratories in the Swiss market.

Its staff are able to communicate with customers in all three main regional languages – German, French and Italian.

Dr David Ricketts, chief executive officer of Link, said: "We have already developed a successful working relationship with Chemie Brunschwig, driving growth in Switzerland, and formally appointing them as our distributor was the next logical step."

This comes after the firm strengthened its market presence in Japan via new distribution agreements with Cosmo Bio and Shigematsu earlier this year.
