Roche to present new cancer drug data at ECC 2015

10th September 2015

Roche has announced that it will be presenting data on 15 medicines across its portfolio of cancer immunotherapies and targeted medicines during the 2015 European Cancer Congress (ECC).

Data from 138 abstracts will be presented at the event in Vienna, which runs from September 25th to 29th, including results from several clinical studies that are supporting ongoing regulatory discussions.

This will encompass findings on alectinib, atezolizumab and cobimetinib, three investigational medicines across specific types of lung, bladder and skin cancer. Pivotal results for atezolizumab will show its efficacy in the treatment of urothelial bladder cancer and non-small cell lung cancer.

Other results will cover multiple tumour types from Roche's pipeline, including CEA-IL2v (RG7813), IDO Inhibitor (GDC-0919) and vanucizumab (anti-Ang2/VEGF, RG7221).

Dr Sandra Horning, Roche's chief medical officer and head of global product development, said: "With our targeted medicines, cancer immunotherapies and the combination potential in our portfolio, we are committed to setting new standards for treating people with cancer."ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801800112-ADNFCR
