MSD Animal Health announces 2015 Nobivac Global Vet Exchange Programme

14th September 2015

MSD Animal Health has announced the return of its Nobivac Global Vet Exchange Programme following the success of the scheme last year.

In 2014, ten veterinarians participated in the inaugural programme, with professionals from the UK, US, the Netherlands, China and Japan getting the opportunity to visit clinics across the globe and share their knowledge and experience in veterinary care.

For 2015, a total of 24 veterinarians from eight countries – the US, Sweden, Denmark, the UK, Germany, Italy, China and Japan – will get a chance to travel to each other's clinics for one week, documenting their experiences via online blog entries and videos.

They will observe and discuss new approaches to patient care and clinic management, helping them identify best practices that they can bring home.

Ingrid Deuzeman, director for global marketing at Merck Animal Health, said: "While participants will see firsthand how animal care differs from country to country, we hope they will also discover how veterinarians worldwide are united by one common mission: to advance the health of animals."

The programme will also help to promote Nobivac, the company's vaccine for protecting dogs against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, infection and parainfluenza infection.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801800431-ADNFCR
