Wildfire wins EMEA PR brief with Violin Memory

29th September 2015

Wildfire has been handed a new contract by Violin Memory, a US-based tech company specialising in flash storage devices.

The agency will handle PR activity for the client in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with the work to involve building the company's profile and credibility for its products, including the Violin Concerto OS 7 operating system, reports Gorkana.

Wildfire will be tasked with promoting Violin's services and solutions to large enterprises, specifically targeting IT directors, system administrators, chief operating officers and data centre managers.

It will work with Violin's partner agencies Lucy Turpin Communications and BPR in Germany and France, respectively.

Lorraine Jenkins, director at Wildfire, said: "Violin Memory has a very strong proposition by offering unmatched data protection in the flash industry and our PR will help drive the message home that flash is a realistic probability for the data centre."

Ms Jenkins added that the client is in a good position due to the falling cost of flash storage, which potentially makes it a viable mainstream alternative to traditional high-end spinning disks.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801801727-ADNFCR
