Agilent Technologies launches new online lab staff training courses

Agilent Technologies has announced the launch of an enhanced portfolio of training courses for laboratory professionals.

The Agilent University service, which combines traditional classroom and customised onsite training, now offers online courses that cover foundational, intermediate and advanced topics.

Aimed at professionals from lab technicians to researchers, the courses provide opportunities to develop new skills and gain insights to improve economic, operational and scientific outcomes.

The company's easy-to-use online portal is localised for more than 13 countries and offers 234 classroom courses, as well as more than 320 scheduled classroom offerings for customers to take at Agilent training facilities around the world.

Mark Doak, president of the Agilent CrossLab Group, said: "Agilent University brings together the best content, curriculum and collaborators to deliver a variety of education offerings and insights to our customers whenever and wherever needed."

This follows the company's opening of a new centre for life science research in partnership with Carleton University in Ottawa.
