Reckitt Benckiser increases financial forecast for 2015 after strong Q3
Reckitt Benckiser has hailed the strength of its financial performance in the third quarter of 2015 and taken the decision to raise its forecasts for the year as a whole.
The company's Q3 revenue total came to 2.2 billion pounds, up by seven percent year over year on a like-for-like basis, bringing its figure for the year to date to 6.55 billion pounds, up by six percent on the first nine months of 2014.
Its strategy for growth and outperformance is working in challenging and volatile markets, with broad-based growth across all key geographies in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, as well as in India and China.
Strongly-performing brands include key product lines such as Scholl, Durex, Dettol, Air Wick and Vanish.
Rakesh Kapoor, chief executive officer at Reckitt Benckiser, said: "We are able to raise our full year like-for-like revenue target to five percent, and therefore remain poised for another year of growth and margin expansion."
