Eurocom to support Life Care Medical Devices product launch

Eurocom Healthcare Communications has won a new contract with Life Care Medical Devices (LCMD) to support the launch of its new product.

LCMD is introducing the innovative surgical laparoscopy device LapCap2, which is specifically designed to advance the standard of care for laparoscopic surgery by providing safe, rapid and repeatable access for minimally invasive abdominal procedures.

LapCap2 is the lead product from the company, which develops, produces and distributes non-invasive and minimally invasive technologies and products that aim to enhance common medical procedures.

Using negative pressure to raise the abdominal wall above the critical organs and vessels, the device was introduced at the 24th annual congress of the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy in Budapest last month.

Tony Chant, managing director at Eurocom, said: "Because LapCap2 enables efficient entry, stabilises the abdomen and reduces risk, we believe it will be well received by surgeons."

This comes after the firm helped launch a new campaign for Nelsons' Spatone supplement brand earlier this year.
