Integrated DNA Technologies launches xGen Exome Research Panel v1.0
Integrated DNA Technologies has announced the launch of the new xGen Exome Research Panel v1.0, for use in the analysis of the human exome.
Intended for use in next-generation sequencing applications, the panel is designed to deliver deep and uniform coverage in a single day, with a total of 429,826 probes spanning 39 Mb of the human genome.
The panel offers uniform coverage of 19,396 genes, helping researchers to identify relevant mutations and aiding advances in clinical and companion diagnostics research.
Each probe within the xGen Exome Research Panel is individually synthesised and undergoes a rigorous manufacturing and quality assessment process, in accordance with GMP standards.
Dr Caifu Chen, vice-president of research and development at Integrated DNA Technologies, said: "The Exome Research Panel delivers unprecedented performance in coverage uniformity and test-to-test consistency, providing our customers confidence that they will be able to detect important mutations in the human exome."
The company manufactures and ships an average of 44,000 custom nucleic acids per day to more than 82,000 customers worldwide.
