Huntsworth merges Grayling’s UK brands division with Atomic

15th December 2015

Huntsworth has announced that the UK brands division of its Grayling business is to be merged with the consumer and tech PR agency Atomic.

Grayling's brands team will relocate to Atomic's offices, creating a 25-person team headed by Atomic managing director Daniel Cohen, who will take on the new role of head of brands at Grayling, reports PRWeek.

Mr Cohen has worked for Huntsworth for more than a decade, initially running the consumer business for Harrison Cowley, before going on to head up Trimedia and finally joining Atomic in 2012.

Sarah Scholefield, managing director for Grayling in the UK and Ireland, said: "Daniel's pedigree in leading award-winning campaigns makes him ideal to spearhead the future growth of integrated brand communications work with the newly merged team."

This comes as a result of a wide-ranging strategic review of the Grayling business in the UK and follows the closure of five global Grayling offices undertaken by chief executive Paul Taaffe earlier this year. No staff reductions will take place as a result of this merger.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801808151-ADNFCR
