BCF Technology launches Phoenix monocular ultrasound viewing device

BCF Technology has announced the launch of Phoenix, its new monocular device for viewing ultrasound imagery.

The sleek, lightweight device is designed for use with the Easi-Scan 3 and 4, Easi-Scan Micro-convex and Easi-Scan Curve systems, and can be custom-made for either the left or right eye.

Its lens transitions from protective eyewear inside to shaded sunglasses outside, offering crisp ultrasound imagery even when working in bright sunlit conditions. Meanwhile, its use of OLED technology provides the largest and highest-quality image possible, with glare guard protection.

Phoenix also comes prescription-ready, with a prescription carrier included with purchase and fitted to work with the monocular goggle.

The company said: "Designed with transitional military grade goggles, Phoenix is optimum both inside and outside."

This follows the introduction of BCF's new Cuattro Slate 6 Equine Digital Radiography system earlier this month.
