Church and Dwight unveils new Bluetooth smart-enabled pregnancy test

Church and Dwight has announced an innovative new smart technology-enabled pregnancy test during the CES 2016 consumer electronics show.

The First Response Pregnancy Pro Digital Pregnancy Test and App Access represents the first and only Bluetooth smart-enabled pregnancy test on the market, allowing users to connect the system to a smart device through a mobile application.

Once synced, the app provides the user with pregnancy-related content only available with Pregnancy Pro, as well as a personalised user experience throughout the entire pregnancy journey.

Developed in collaboration with Qualcomm, the test provides step-by-step assurance through the testing process, with calming, educational or entertaining content offered during the three-minute calculation period.

Once the test result is delivered, users can access relevant information based on the outcome, including cycle tracking tools, an estimated due date and suggested questions to ask a doctor.
