Dechra appoints equine sales manager for west of England

Dechra has announced the appointment of Danielle Meehan as equine sales manager for the west of England as it seeks to further bolster its equine team.

Ms Meehan is a University of Manchester graduate and an experienced equestrian, with a strong background in sales. She has worked across a range of sectors, including consumer goods, medical and food and drink.

Her job will be to increase customer contact and support for veterinary professionals in the west of the country, including meeting directly with potential buyers to show them how Dechra can support their day-to-day activities.

The company's equine portfolio includes brands such as Osphos and Equipalazone, with demand for these products currently high.

Emma Jennings, equine brand manager at Dechra, said: "Danielle's skill and passion for horses means she is ideally placed to help Dechra extend the support it can offer veterinary professionals who work in the equine sector."

This follows the appointment of Justine Whitmore as Dechra's equine sales manager for the east of England last year.
