Dechra appoints equine and food-producing animal sales manager

19th January 2016

Dechra has announced the appointment of a former veterinary nurse and lecturer as its new equine and food-producing animal sales manager.

Rachel Tomlinson-Leyden will leverage her extensive experience in animal health to deliver increased customer contact and targeted support for veterinary professionals across the region.

She began her career as a veterinary nurse, before spending two years as a veterinary nursing lecturer. She has an MSc in animal biology, a BSc honours degree in animal behaviour and nursing, and a postgraduate degree in teaching.

Ms Tomlinson-Leyden has been appointed to strengthen the team supporting the firm's equine and food-producing animal portfolio, which sells products such as Equipalazone, Osphos, TAF Spray and Bovocycline.

Emma Jennings, Dechra's brand manager, said: "Demand for our equine and food-producing animal products continues to grow year on year and Rachel's vast experience in this field will be a welcome addition to the Dechra team."

This follows the appointment of Danielle Meehan as the company's new equine sales manager for the west of England earlier this month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801810399-ADNFCR
